(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch are investigating the death of a man in Northwest, D.C.
On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at approximately 12:54 a.m., Fourth District officers responded to the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, for the report of a man down. Upon arrival, officers located a man with trauma. He died at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Reggie Brown, of Northwest, DC.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled the cause of death to be blunt force trauma and the manner of death a homicide.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
